Important 9-1-1 Funding Policy Survey


The California 9-1-1 Policy and Practices Work Group has been tasked with assessing the State of California’s (State) current 9-1-1 Phone System funding policy methodology and equipment replacement cycle. The assessment will have a direct impact to the funding distributed by the State to PSAPs for their 9-1-1 Phone System and related equipment.

The Work Group developed an on-line survey that is being launched today, October 22, and will close on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 5:00 PM. The Work Group is seeking the California PSAP’s participation and input.

Action requested: Please follow this link (http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/1416400/CA-9-1-1-PSAP-Survey-re-Funding-of-9-1-1-System) and participate in a 17 question survey. Please complete the survey by Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 5:00 PM.
