Do you have a story of our dear friend Preston? Want to share a memory of him driving his water tender, his trips to China and Europe, searching for frequencies, or of the time he shared with you this history of his favorite Single Malt Whiskey? Please come join us Friday, April 1, in the Capitol View Room at the Hyatt Regency in Sacramento from 6-9 PM.
Preston had such a large impact on Radio and Telecommunications, not just locally, and nationally, but internationally as well, that we want to share these three short hours with friends reminiscing about the good times we had together. Preston helped out so many of us, often out of the goodness of his heart, and we would love for you to take this opportunity to say goodbye to a good friend, and good man, one last time.
Light snacks and refreshments will be served, a video montage of Preston will be displayed, and we will hear from some of those that knew him the best. After that, feel free to share your own stories and memories of Preston, and spend the rest of the evening mingling with friends and business associates.
For those traveling from out of town, there is easy shuttle service from the airport. There are also a limited number of government rate rooms available if you would like to stay over night.
