The Northern California Chapter of APCO International is proud to support Martha Carter in her bid for the 2015 APCO 2nd VP position.
At the July Membership meeting, a lengthy discussion was held describing the two candidates. Information was relayed from both candidates that came from their conference call with the chapter during the June Membership meeting, and then from their candidacy letters which they provided. The letters were posted on the NAPCO.org website here.
While both candidates would represent APCO very well on matters domestic and international, Martha was unanimously selected as the best candidate for the organization at this time. Along with all other members of the Executive Board, The Northern California Chapter of APCO knows that with her experience, and drive, APCO will be a stronger, better organization to help support our first responders, and those in the Public Safety Communications Industry as a whole.
We also can’t stress how both candidates would be great assets to APCO, and hope to see JJ run again next year.
