NAPCO Mourns the Passing of a Friend and 911 Advocate 3

It is with great regret that we announce the passing of a friend and advocate for the 9-1-1 community at large, Mary Pat Marshall.

Mary Pat worked with the California Highway Patrol Golden Gate Division Dispatch, and was Past President of CalNENA.

Mary Pat Marshall joined the Department in 1982, working in the San Francisco Area as a Communications Operator. In 1991, with the consolidation of dispatch centers, she was assigned to the Golden Gate Communications Center. She promoted to Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor I in 1999, and PSDSII in 2003.

Mary Pat passed away on July 26, 2014. Although she had been in the hospital, she was in good spirits and expected to be released within a couple of days. Mary Pat was loved and admired by many, and she will be deeply missed.

Details regarding a memorial service will be released as soon as they are available.
