NAPCO Announces it’s YouTube Channel

We, the NAPCO board, have been working hard for years on making our monthly chapter meetings more meaningful and useful for our chapter members. Maybe you have noticed some of these adjustments, some you may not have. We have looked for speakers that are dynamic and engaging. We have alternated keynotes between technical and operational, and some that are just plain interesting (who could forget the K-9 demonstration?). We have searched for venues large enough to host our increasing numbers. We added an operations work group held during, but separate from, the frequency coordination meetings. We have been diligently posting the keynote slide presentations on the website monthly. And, we have kept you up to date with weekly emails letting you know about important APCO news and events.

Today we are proud to announce our latest creation: The Northern California Chapter of APCO YouTube Channel. That’s right, now you can see past meeting keynote presenters all on YouTube. This is possible with the help of Dan White with Share-A-Vision productions. Dan has been working with the chapter for two years now to video our events and we waited until we had enough content available before we made it available to you.

Now not all events will be hosted on YouTube. I mean, what would be the point of going to meetings if we made them all available, right? So meetings, if available, will be posted no sooner than three months after recording. We still want to you to come to the meetings. I have to admit, that even with the skills of Dan White as camera man and producer, watching on YouTube is not quite like being there in person. Some things have to be experienced first hand.

So, make sure you head on over to YouTube now to see the chapter channel. Be sure to subscribe to is and be notified of when we post new videos, watch some keynotes, favorite some videos, comment on them, and give us feedback. We want to know how we are doing, and what we can do to make it better. Thank you to all of those that have helped make this possible, and for all of our member support to keep it going.
