Region 6 Annual NPSPAC Meeting – POSTPONED @ Online Only
Mar 13 @ 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM

REGION 6 (NORTHERN CALIFORNIA) PUBLIC SAFETY REGIONAL PLANNING COMMITTEE TO HOLD ANNUAL 700 MHz AND 800 MHZ (NPSPAC) MEETINGS

Due to unexpected unavailability of the Region 6 Chair, the Region 6 700 MHz and 800 MHz NPSPAC Regional Planning Committee online meetings scheduled for March 13 have been postponed until April 10. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. In terms of applications, there were only a few applications in the VHF spectrum that we’ll review in April and no apps to vote on in the 700/800 bands.

The Region 6 (Northern California) 700 MHz and 800 MHz Regional Planning Committees (RPC’s) will hold two consecutive meetings on Thursday, March 13, 2025. These meetings will be online only via Zoom. The Region 6 700 MHZ meeting will begin at 1:00 pm PDT. The Region 6 800 MHz meeting will convene immediately following the conclusion of the 700 MHz RPC meeting.

These meetings will be held as virtual meetings only. Please use the link below to attend the meetings. The moderator will let you into the meeting just before it begins. Please be sure that your full name is entered upon joining the meeting so that you are identified to the other attendees.

Meeting ID: 953 1687 4334

The agenda for both RPC meetings include:

  • Call to Order and introductions
  • Election of Vice Chair and Secretary
  • Review of open committee positions and elections to fill open positions
  • Establish working group to review and make any necessary updates to Bylaws
  • Discuss Plan and creation of Plan revision working groups

Both Region 6 meetings are open to the public. All eligible public safety providers in Region 6 may utilize these frequencies. It is essential that public safety agencies in all areas of government, including state, municipality, county, and Native American Tribal be represented in order to ensure that each agency’s spectrum needs are considered and accommodated when possible. Administrators who are not oriented in the communications field should delegate someone with this knowledge to attend, participate, and represent their agency’s needs.

All interested parties are encouraged to attend, including commercial representatives. For further information, please contact:
