Graham Groneman
Battalion Chief
Marin County Fire Department

Graham Groneman began his fire service career and a Volunteer in 1998 with the Muir Beach Vol. Fire Department.  Graham started with the County of Marin in 2001 as a Seasonal Firefighter and was hired on to the permanent staff in 2005.  Graham has filled the positions of Firefighter, Fire Apparatus Engineer, Fire Crew Foreman, Fire Captain and Battalion Chief.  Graham is currently assigned to the Woodacre Fire station as the Battalion Chief in charge of Training.  One of Grahams assignments has been to implement a MDT (Mobile Data Terminal) mobility program in the departments fleet of vehicles.  The Solution has greatly improved firefighters ability to receive and communicate vital information during emergency incidents.

Deputy Fire Chief
Marin County Fire Department

Deputy Chief Brown started his career as a volunteer firefighter in 1986 in Sonoma County.  He was hired by the Marin County Fire Department as a Firefighter/Paramedic in 1991 and worked his way up through the ranks to Deputy Fire Chief.  The Deputy Chief’s duties include commanding the emergency operations of the Fire Department which includes fire suppression, training, emergency medical services, communications, hazardous materials incidents, and other emergency responses.
Mark is a Type I Operations Section Chief on Cal Fire Incident Management Team 4.  He is also one of the Incident Commanders of the North Bay Incident Management Team, a Type III All-Hazards Incident Management Team.  His deployments include floods, earthquakes, public health emergencies, hurricanes, oil spills, mud slides, civil unrest, wildland fires and planned events.
