NAPCO Mourns the Passing of Marvin Bernardi 1

Marvin F. Bernardi, born April 16, 1943 in Eureka, CA, passed away in his sleep October 14, 2014 at the age of 71 years young.

To those that knew Marvin, he was a good friend. For those that didn’t, we are sorry you missed out. Marvin served as Chapter Treasurer for many years. He regularly attended every monthly meeting, even after retiring from public service. A few of the chapter members who were closest to him were lucky to receive a hand made wood bodied ink pen that he made himself in his garage as a hobby.

Marvin’s family is keeping the services small and private. Please read the notice here and keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. Marvin was survived by his Wife Nancy of 47 years, his daughter Jennifer, grandson Dylan and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and his dog Pancho.

Marvin retired from the City of Sacramento as a 9-1-1 dispatcher after 40 years of service.
