September 11, 2011: A day we will never forget!
It was 12 years ago today that the world suffered the largest terrorist attack. 3000 innocent civilians died at the hands of terrorists who thought they would cripple our country. What seemed like a devastating blow turned our nation into a true “United States”. Everyone remembers where they were that day, and no one will ever forget.
We will forever remember and honor those who lost their lives that day for a senseless reason. We will also remember those who rushed in without thought of their own safety, as they were trained, attempting to rescue those that could not rescue themselves. Those are the true heroes of that day, and we proudly salute you and pray for you and your families.
If you can, take some time to thank the brave first responders you know. The Fire, Police, EMT, Dispatchers, and countless others that sacrifice so much to provide us with the help we need, when we need it the most. We pray for them, and thank them.
