New 700 MHz Public Safety Deployable Trunked Radio Systems Standards from APCO

APCO has published a new standard to support the configuration and use of 700 MHz Public Safety Deployable Trunked Radio Systems. The standard provides information for system operators to properly configure these systems. The standard also provides information for programming subscriber radios in a consistent manner to insure interoperability nationwide. Inconsistent programming may prevent interoperable communications. Agencies with these systems, or agencies with 700 MHz subscriber radios are encouraged to download a copy of the standard.

The Standard is available on the APCO web site, https://www.apcointl.org/~documents/standard/2108-700-mhz-deployable-public-safety-trunking-systems?layout=file , or by searching for APCO 2.108.1
