In Remembrance – Space Shuttle Columbia Crew


10 years later, the tragic events of the Space Shuttle Crew Columbia, stand as a strong reminder that there are those willing to risk their lives for the betterment of humanity. The crew of 7, Commander Rick Husband, Pilot William McCool, Israeli astronaut Ilan Ramon, Michael Anderson, David Brown, Kalpana Chawla and Laurel Clark, knew that space flight was risky, and still they pursued their careers, and dreams, knowing that the scientific advances carried out by their crew would help the planet as a whole.

Everyday, millions sacrifice their safety for the benefit of others. Today, let’s remember those that have passed to help out in ways greater than ourselves, and honor those who still do so today.
