Happy New Year! I am pleased to announce that our first Chapter Meeting of 2014 was a great way to start the New Year. I would like to thank all our members as this meeting set a new record for online pre-registrations at 81 for a monthly meeting! This is a reflection of the dedication and commitment we all have to NAPCO.
A special thank you to the 2014 NAPCO Board of Directors for the significant progress made during our annual workshop. Organizing and forming committees to plan the 2015 APCO Western States Regional Conference is one of our top priorities for this year, I will be counting on our highly dedicated and motivated Board of Directors members to make this conference a success.
The Western States Regional Conference will be held at the Sacramento Convention Center. The Board of Directors will be actively seeking interested parties to serve on many different committees, since NAPCO is a membership driven organization with a mission to serve and assist individuals in the Public Safety Community. Your participation and contribution to these committees will help us accomplish our mission.
I would also like to inform you that The Board of Directors has decided to keep the monthly meeting fee at $25.00 for online registration; what will be changing is the same day registration, the new fee for those who do not register online will be $30.00. I encourage every member to register online. Another change will be the fee for the December Table Top event; it will increase to $30.00 online registration and $35.00 for same day registration.
I hope that every one of you can attend the February monthly meeting at Cordelia Fire Station. I truly welcome your thoughts and ideas on how we can together improve NAPCO.
