REGION 6 (NORTHERN CALIFORNIA) PUBLIC SAFETY REGIONAL PLANNING COMMITTEE TO HOLD 700 MHz AND 800 MHZ (NPSPAC) MEETINGS


The Region 6 (Northern California)[1] 700 MHz and 800 MHz Regional Planning Committees (RPC’s) will hold two consecutive meetings on Thursday, February 08, 2024, at the Tracy Community Center in Tracy California. The Region 6 700 MHZ meeting will begin at 1:00 pm PST. The Region 6 800 MHz meeting will convene immediately following the conclusion of the 700 MHz RPC meeting.

Both Region 6 meetings are open to the public.  All eligible public safety providers in Region 6 may utilize these frequencies.  It is essential that public safety agencies in all areas of government, including state, municipality, county, and Native American Tribal be represented in order to ensure that each agency’s spectrum needs are considered and accommodated when possible.  Administrators who are not oriented in the communications field should delegate someone with this knowledge to attend, participate, and represent their agency’s needs.
