Public Safety Broadband Consultation Prep Workshop


Participate in the Success of California’s Dedicated Public Safety Broadband Network!
Don’t miss your chance to provide valuable input on California’s incoming consultation process! FirstNet was created by Title VI of the Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2012. The law includes provisions to fund and govern a nationwide public safety wireless broadband network.

  • Learn about OEC’s coverage baseline, national trends, users and future network service
  • Provide critical input on California’s unique needs and challenges in rural, urban and tribal lands
  • Meet California’s governance board –the California First Responder Network Board of Directors

This workshop is for first responders, IT directors, public safety officials and administrators, telecommunications technical experts, military, (army, navy, & coast guard) border patrol, port authority, private industry, tribal and federal entities.

The workshop will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at:
